Includes portraits and snapshots of author Frank M. Robinson, family portraits and snapshots, and snapshots of many friends,
chiefly taken in San Francisco, California. Includes several photographs of Harvey Milk (chiefly by Dan Nicoletta), for whom
Robinson worked as a speech writer, and photographs of Robinson with stars and others involved in the production of the 2008
movie "Milk" (including screenwriter Dustin Lance Black and actors Sean Penn and James Franco.) Many polaroid portraits, presumably
by Robinson, chiefly of young men in San Francisco's Castro District in the 1970s, are also present. Two movie posters for
films based on Robinson's works are also present, for "The towering inferno" and "The power" (size --F), and a smaller promotional
graphic for "The dark beyond the stars" (B folder 1). Other oversize material includes photographic portraits of Robinson,
a charcoal portrait of Robinson, a photograph of the re-enactment of a candle-lit walk down Market Street mourning Harvey
Milk (staged for the film "Milk"), and photographs of a book wall of Robinson's works (presumably in his home library). Also
includes award plaques, trophies and other objects (OBJ boxes)

Frank M. Robinson (1926-2014) was an author of science fiction and thriller novels. Born in Chicago, he resided in San Francisco
from the 1970s onward.
